Unable to send tx messages only iMessage

Please advise why I’m unable to send text messages to people not iPhone, can only seem to send iMessages therefore I am only able to respond to iPhone users. I can’t understand why, please help

Two telephone numbers, one iPhone

Is it possible to have two telephone numbers attached to my EE iphone for both receiving and making calls please? For outgoing calls, I'd need to be able to choose which outgoing line to use
