Use of maps

Recently upgraded to iPhone 15 but cannot seem to use Google or any other maps whilst out & about which I could do easily on my old phone. Is there something I need to do to enable the use? Very very annoying & inconvenient.

@Ruth62 Have you allowed these apps to use cellular data ?   Check in settings>cellular>show all and make sure that they are toggled on (green)
