Hi. I have a new android head unit in my car. I have installed an EE sim. The network is being picked up and shows as EE but no services work. I cant use Google maps, Chrome, YouTube, playstore  etc. Links ok with android auto, and ok on hot-spot to my EE mobile. I just get nothing when attempting to use the SIM seated in the head unit. I need to be able to use the head unit with own sim

 Head unit tested. No faults

 Works on other networks. Just not on EE....

Hi @RR67 

Is this a third party Chinese android replacement head unit/screen. 

It may not be compatible with EE network frequencies as these FYT units tend to be skins over an old version of android spoofed to look like a newer version. The hardware again may not be as reported as these FTY units/boards/CPU are designed to be used in many types of these screens and firmware.

Have you made sure the APN settings are correct. Try these:
