Hi. I have my new iPhone arriving tomorrow and I will need to transfer the esim from my old iPhone to the new one. How do I do this? Please note that I have purchased the new iPhone directly from Apple and not EE. Thanks.

I too have Lobster such a shame they do not support eSim especially as new iPhone 15 apparently will not have an actual sim slot in Europe.

Update for new EE App
Set everything up on your new phone first and keep old phone switched on as you will receive a pin on it. Here is how you do it. Go on your EE app and log in. Tap on Profile top corner. Go to settings and permissions/Replace my SIM/eSIM/ChooseNumber/instant download/select the device for e sim download to the correct phone/ download activate where you will then get a PIN number on your old phone. Enter this on new phone/ activate

With iOS 17, when you transfer apps, data and setting from an old iPhone to the new iPhone it now automatically gives the option to also transfer e-SIMs. At least, it works on the iPhone 15 Pro and the e-SIM was active on the new phone minutes later.
