I’ve been with EE over seven years and this past six months has been the most impact I’ve ever had in my mental health With EE causing me ridiculous amounts of stress. I pay £86 a month for a phone that doesn’t work. The 5G has never worked on my phone and I have been calling them for the past seven months regarding this and the phone line either goes dead or they have to pass me through to someone else who has no idea what they’re talking about. They are so so rude and ignorant every time I speak to him on the phone they have attitude and have no idea what they’re talking about. I’m absolutely disgrace of the amount of stress they have caused me and seeing all these other reviews at least I know I’m not alone. I’m only six months in on my contract and they will not let me cancel it unless I pay £1300 !!!! They want me to pay £590 on top of that to pay a phone bill. The only reason my phone bill is that high is because my phone did not work when I was on holiday and I had to call EE to sort it out and they still never sorted it out and then gave me a £500 phone bill!!!!! They told me if I paid £590 they would cancel my contract and then the phone went dead. The next day I called again and they said there is no notes of that on their system and they can’t offer it to me. Honestly, please stay away from this company. When you asked to speak to a manager, the managers never available and they never call you back. You find yourself repeating yourself hundreds of times. I’ve called for the last seven months.
Please, please, please save yourself the grief.

Does your 4G work? How about your 2G? Or do you get no coverage whatsoever?
What was the issue with using your phone abroad - was roaming not enabled?
I don't see the relevance of your monthly spend.

@Summerkarenn Is that phone bill of £500+ from when you was abroad?
Is 5G enabled on the device?

4G doesn’t work neither does 2G none of it works and I pay for an unlimited 5G contract. My phone has been broken since I bought it and within the whole seven months of me calling non-stop, they haven’t done nothing about it. my phone kept turning on and off when I was abroad and I had no Wi-Fi nothing so I had to call them from abroad and they wouldn’t even help me then.

Yes they told me I need to pay £500 just for one 10 minute phone call to EE! and I told them if my phone worked in the first place I wouldn’t have had to call them and now they’re trying to charge me

What you pay for is an unlimited contract using any "G" that's available, no plans are "G" specific.
Where did you purchase your phone from, specifically? Assuming it was reported faulty to them immediately you purchased it, then it should have been replaced - be it from EE-direct, EE-retail stores or a third party.
I'm not surprised that a known faulty device, behaved the same way abroad as it did in the UK! Any resolution would require you to be in the UK, not abroad.

After reporting it from the first week I got it 7 months later they still didn’t replace it and I called every week.
