I just upgraded but it’s asking me to send old phone back

I would rather keep it as it’s an iPhone and I’m moving over to google phone. So I won’t be able to save the pictures from the like 10 years I’ve used iPhones. It was an free early upgrade I have like 2 month left on the contract. Is there anyway I can keep the phone? If so how much does it cost?

Hi @Izzi1991

If this was part of a trade-in deal, the cost would depend on the device and deal that was taken up during upgrade.
You may lose any discounts or credits that were given as part of the trade-in.

The best option would be to contact Customer Care directly where a guide will be able to check the exact cost for you Contact Us | Help & Support | EE

Install the Google Photos app on your iPhone and Pixel (If it isn't already on there), Backup the photos and download on your Pixel.

Cheers. Will definitely do that. But I would still rather keep the phone as I promised it to my mother. I’m getting no responses from help on the app or Twitter. I don’t mind paying a little money to keep it. My mums phone is ancient and she’s in desperate need of a newer phone.
