I have a new Apple Watch on the way with Family Watch Plan Unlimited, I have noticed this plan has its own phone number, if I don't want to use this can I still link the watch to my iPhone's number?

@mattworcester No, you should of selected the personal plan. That tariff has its own number as the user of that watch doesn’t have an iPhone and it’s usually a child so the parent can keep in contact with that person.
Hence the tariff name Family watch plan or personal watch plan.
with the personal watch plan get it’s linked at account level so calls are on the phone and it watch. The family plan it’s a standard alone product so call made are only on the watch.
You’ll have to call customer support and explain what you want.

thanks for the info, i’ll give them a call tomorrow and ask them go change the plan
