Broken screen, unable to use my phone

Summer2001
Visitor

I have recently broken my iPhone screen, I cannot unlock my phone at all. The screen has gone black and covered in lines and squares. Luckily, I ordered my upgrade before the phone was rendered useless. Is there any way of backing up my phone without needing access to it before transferring to a new device as I have recent photos from a trip I don't want to loose. Is a screen replacement my only option? Or could I get help from someone at EE store who can do this for me? TIA.

@Summer2001   Your device should atomically back up to iCloud and provide you have iCloud Photos enabled in  backups (it’s enabled by default ) then all you need to do is plug the device in to charge and everything will backup.   You can check your backing by login to your apple account on that device.    Or if you have iCloud online enabled you can use https://www.icloud.com to login to your apple account.
