Hi All,
So I’m currently paying for Apple Care Full Cover for my device on my plan each month and I can see this included in My EE. However, whenever I go to iPhone’s settings > About > Coverage, I only see hardware repair and phone support services. I also looked up my serial number under the Apple Support app to check for this coverage and I can’t see it. This is especially concerning as it should be linked to my phone and easily accessible should I lose it or get it stolen in another country (I travel quite often for work)
Should I ring up the technical team?
thanks

Hi @isabelinhavasc,
Your insurance cover provided by EE won't be visible in your Apple account, just within your EE account.

hi James,
Thanks. But shouldn’t it though? How could I go about going to an Apple Store and having my phone fixed or getting another if that’s the case if I’m out of the UK?

Please take a look at Chubb IPID Corporate - EE Apple Care Full Cover for a breakdown of what is covered by Apple Care and what is covered by your EE Insurance policy @isabelinhavasc.
Hope this helps. 🙂

Hi, what this “community manager” is saying, or rather not saying is that AppleCare services is a misleading name used by EE so you think you have AppleCare+. You have their cover which other than a similar name isn’t anything like AppleCare+.
It doesn’t cover a smashed back for example or have the Apple Store repairs you’ve been mislead into thinking you’re entitled to.
