Samsung Galaxy S22+

I have a Galaxy S22+, just 2 years old. Previously when I connected it to charge it a revolving green symbol would appear on the Home Screen showing it was charging, now that does not happen. Does anyone know why this has happened ? The phone still charges, but the only way to see that it is charging is from the Symbol in the Top Right of the Home Screen or in Settings.

Hi @Bucaneer123

See here:

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/show-or-hide-the-battery-percentage-on-your-samsun...

If you have changed settings in good lock or developers options can disable this as well. It could also be if your phone is connected to a slow charger.

Ultimately I wouldn't worry about it unless your device stops charging.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply. I followed the Link to the Samsung Link for Show / Hide Battery Percentage.  I followed the Instructions and in Advanced Settings I had already put the Show Battery Percentage on, so the Percentage should show on the Home Screen. Just another example of where you follow the recommended corrective steps and the function still does not work. I assume that someone from the Technical or a Community Star may be able to give some further advice, although I am not sure how to contact them as I am new to the Community. Thanks for trying to help.
