Hi.
Just visited EE shop and been told that's not possible anymore to get £7 data plan for a Galaxy watch (got it off eBay). Instead, I've been told to get all rounder SIM plan (which I did) to be able to share my mobile number with my smartwatch.
Don't really know how to setup my smartwatch.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Krzysztof

Hi,
If you have the new all-rounder plan that you upgraded or bought after 29 August 2024, you can get the watch plan for free. Otherwise, it's not. You can try to get the watch plan with your watch app; it will direct you on how to activate it. Follow the link.
Thank you.

Hi @KrzysztofSz
Thanks for coming to the community.
When you are seeing that error, it will need a bit of help from our tech guides to get it set up.
If you give our team a call, and let them know the error code they are seeing, they'll take a look.

Hi. I called EE customer service and tried to solve the issue. They have checked EID and IMEI number and according to them watch is on mobile plan with different provider. In watch itself there's no option to remove any mobile plan. Only to setup one. And when I try it always ends up with 512 error code.

Hello @KrzysztofSz.
Are you aware what provider the watch was originally on before you purchased?
Did the team provide you with the next steps?

Hi.
Unfortunately I don't know that. I thought that network providers share this kind of information between each other.
The team have offered to get contract and watch directly from EE. Which is pointless in my opinion and waste of money.
Thanks for your message.

Krzysztof

Hi @KrzysztofSz.
It could be worth checking with the seller if they could speak with there provider to see what is causing the block for you to purchase a data plan.
