If I am on holiday in Australia and want to purchase an iPhone 14 and above (that only has an eSIM) from the UK and activate it while in Australia, will I encounter any issues?
I have a plan with ee and an Australian provider on my current phone and it works fine but I have heard it may be different with the new phones with no SIM card slot.
i will purchase from apple so can’t see it being sim locked but just want to make sure.
thank you!

All iPhones bought in UK will have a physical SIM slot as well as eSIM capability.
Any SIM needs to be activated on EE's home UK network before it can be used abroad.
Any device bought new nowadays will be unlocked to any network.
