My phone asking for a pin code after the restart, but the pin was never set on the phone, so how do I reset this ?

@artoti   Is that a sim pin by any chance?    But quick question how did you unlock the device when you want to use it ?  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi Chris, the device was used for the first time so only set up a fingerprint but not pin. And I don't have a pin on the card so not sure

Hi @artoti,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

When adding your fingerprint, you would have had to setup a screen lock PIN, password or pattern if you hadn't already done so.

James, I can even get to this option so probably factory reset is the only option. Can this reset be conducted in store or I can do by myself  ?

Hi @artoti,

Yes, you can do it yourself, but please leave this as a last resort as any data you hadn't backed up will be lost.

Did you try unlocking it via find my mobile?
