I've been sent the unlock pin 16 digits  doesn't work so reading other posts put the last digits of the code it didn't work tried the first 8 didn't work

Are you able to follow the instructions at How do I remove the operator lock on my Xperia device?

If the code is still not working, please call our Customer Service team who'll be able to raise a form to verify the code.

@Stevie2474  The last 8 and first 8 are for when you need to unfreeze the device because the wrong unlock code has been entered wrong to many times this is called a MCK code.  
have you entered the unlock code too many times and froze the device ?
