Sim card varify stuck

Hello, I have had my sim card since I got my phone and have had my new phone for a few years calls was fine then and then one day I got none when looking into it I found that it needs verifying when trying to varify it, it is stuck on verifying and when reopening the app and trying it again it does not work

Are you on pay as you go or contract?

Not sure why your SIM card would need verifying, this does seem strange. 

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
