The contract for my watch ended in November 2024, and I'm trying to switch to a SIM only plan to save money, but the app and website keep directing me back to the home page every time I click on the SIM only link. I know the website says I can't link it through my phone plan because the original contract was through EE, but I should at least be able to switch it to a basic unlimited data SIM, right? Will I have to call and switch it manually?

Thanks for coming to the community.
You can definitely switch to a SIM Only plan if the watch contract has expired.
The best option is to give our customer service guides a call when you get a chance, and they can get it changed over for you.

Yes, I have mine and my kids phones with EE and was switching things up after contracts ended. I got their phones sorted easily, but the app won't offer SIM only options for the watch, only new phone deals, which I don't need as I only renewed my own in June.
