Watch Sim for Samsung Ultra

Hi All 👋 

I wondered if anyone could support with a couple of queries I had regarding adding on data for a Samsung Watch Ultra just so I don't mess it up.

I am the account holder for two pay monthly plans for two Samsung devices, my partner has just purchased a Samsung Ultra Watch and wants to add on the data plan. To note our plan doesn't include the free data option for watch sims.

Two questions:

1) If we set this up using the instructions via his phone does it attach to that number automatically? I was worried about it knowing which sim to use.

2) If I obtained a LTE watch in the future does the data plan cover both or would it be another £9 a month? I wasn't thinking of doing so but might if the data does cover multiple sims.

Welcome to the EE Community

1) Yes that is correct. Set it up via the Wearable app on his phone and it will attach to his number, once the watch and phone are paired go to the Mobile plans section in the Wearables app and you should see the Setup mobile plan option. You just follow the instructions from there, you will need to sign into your EEID to then click and buy the data plan during this setup. 

 

2) Each watch would need its own plan, so if you did buy a second watch and wanted to be able to use it on mobile data you would need to buy a second plan or upgrade to a mobile plan with the inclusive watch plan.
