Hi,
Hoping you can help, I did phone up the sales team but I was confused.
'Purchase the Pixel 9-Fold and trade-in an eligible device to receive a £26 monthly discount applied over 24-months (£624 via bank transfer for new to EE flex pay customers).'
Does this offer apply to new EE customers too? I was told it was only existing customers but I can't see that on the website.
I do not want to go all the way through and purchase the phone and then find out the following won't work (it also still refers to the pixel 8a when I assume it means the pixel 9...)
'Upon completion of your order, new Flex Pay customers can use the final 8 digits of their new Pixel 8a’s IMEI as their unique promo code on the EE recycle site to obtain the full trade-in value of their device as a bank transfer - EE – Trade in your mobile phone, tablet, watch or macbook | EE:
My phone is a pixel pro 6 so it is on the list so I think I should get the £26 off a month or the £624 trade in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Hi @TLB3,
Thanks for visiting the EE Community 🙂
Great to hear you are interesting in joining EE with the Pixel 9 Fold offer. The offer is available to new customers as well as existing customers as long as you are joining on a plan 25GB or higher and not taking part in any additional offer such as getting an additional discount on the plan.
As you would be a new to EE Flex Pay customer, it is the payment via bank transfer you would be able to redeem by using the last 8 digits of your new phone as a promo code on our recycle website.

Hello. I am an existing customer and pre-ordered a Pixel 9 Pro Fold and a Pixel 9 Pro XL as upgrades on my account for me and my partner. We received the Pixel 9 Pro XL last Thursday however the last 8 digits of the IMEI number are not recognised as a valid promo code. How long will it take for the IMEI to be recognised?

Presumably the NHS discount counts as an additional discount? Thanks

Hello @Gashead,
Welcome to the EE Community 🙂
Just to confirm its on Home Page - EE Trade in after you have selected the device you are trading in that you are entering the code?
When you are getting the IMEI code of the new phone, are you doing that via dialling *#06# on the phone as if so make sure you are not including the 01 on the end as part of the last 8 for the code.
The device you are trying to trade in is on the eligible device list as well?

Hi Alex,
I'm trying to trade in a Pixel 6 128Gb and yes I am ignoring the extra digits after the / and using the number from dialling *#06# which corresponds with the box.

@Gashead Sorry I see in your initial message you mentioned you were upgrading as an existing customer. The trade in offer for cash claimed via the last 8 digits of the IMEI on our recycle site is just for new to EE Flex Pay customers as they are unable to setup a trade in at the point of sale.
Upgrading customers would get the monthly discount when trading in, but this would have had to be setup at the point of sale, rather than something claimed after.
If the trade in was not setup at the point of sale for your outstanding order, it would be best to call our team on 150 so a new order can be placed with the trade-in, in order to benefit from the monthly discount on the new plan.

Thanks Alex. I was told at EE Welwyn Garden City the trade in had to be done online and in the case of the Pixel 9 Pro XL is has already been delivered. 150 it is then, if only their on hold music was Echo And The Bunnymen as in the TV advert.
