Overheating and poor battery

I've had the Google 6 for about 8 months . The battery is really poor and getting worse. It lasts for a few hours on usage and can take several hours to charge. Also it's started to get really hot. I need my phone for work but am not able to rely on it like previous phones.@

I'm having exactly the same issue and the battery is terrible. Also takes a long long time to charge. I have the pixel 6.

Your issues are well known by Google and related to the software.

I would suggest contacting Google support if you're concerned. Many of these issues are related to Google rollout of new software as their devices receive updates first.
