It's a brand new phone running the latest version of Android 16. Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a fix? It's super annoying. Several times a day I have to do a reboot because that's the only way I can get auto-rotate working again.

Hi @Moonalesca
Thanks for coming to our community.
That doesn't sound right, have you spoken with our technical team about this yet?

Google Pixels have an in-built Pixel Diagnostic Tool which you may use if you feel up to it. The instructions can be found here and may help to figure out if it is a software issue or a hardware fault: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/14257407?hl=en
Alternatively if you reach out to EE as advised by @Lesley_W or go to an EE Retail Store, they may be able to run you through some checks to determine the issue.

I've gone through those diagnostic tests and the accelerometer, proximity sensor and gyroscope come back with a bright red FAIL. But when I restart the phone, they seem to work again until the issue spontaneously resurfaces later on. I've searched online about the issue and it seems it was a known problem until a software update fixed it earlier this month, but my phone is completely up-to-date. I guess I might need to ring customer support after all!
