I've had my flip for just undera year, no issues at all until yesterday I noticed it wasn't charging. I tried many different chargers but it wasn't working so I tried restarting the phone. It never came back on and will not turn on now no matter what I do. I've been through troubleshooting and tried to rest the phone, nothing has worked. Do I need to get in touch with EE about this or Samsung? I assume will be covered under warranty as it's less than a year old and not damaged

If it's a manufacturing failure it will be covered by the warranty. Do you have insurance.
You can contact EE or Samsung warranty.
