Hi, we have two A56 5G handsets and both are constantly showing an error of foreign body or moisture in the charging point. One has had the error for approx, 2 weeks the other has started the message today. Placing the handset in rice overnight temporarily resolves the message to enable charging, but then keeps coming back. Both handsets are keep in leather cases, and are not subjected to any moisture.

Welcome to the Community, @sam-nicholas.
This is an odd one - Samsung have some guidance and troubleshooting around this error appearing repeatedly on their help page here, and if it were just the one handset affected I would be leaning towards it being linked to one of these issues.
As two handsets are now affected, that points to something else.
Do you use the same cable with each handset, and is this an official Samsung charger? A faulty charger could be contributing to issues being detected with the USB port.
This may seem counter-intuitive too, but after drying each handset out I'd recommend leaving them out of the cases.
If there's limited airflow and the phone heats up inside the case, this could lead to condensation.

How do you hold them.
If you hold them touching your body or your fingers over the charging port then it's likely your body heat settings off the warning. It can also be the environment if warm or moist.
Rice is an old wife tail and has no benefit. Make sure the ports are clean and clean your phone and case (remove from the case) clean the dust.
Thanks
