My phone has just returned from my Insurer's repairers.  Started it up and got the message “Enter network unlock code.  Your phone isn’t allowed to use this SIM card” after the SIM card was inserted.  How can I get this rectified?  Thanks

They must have given you a recon model.

You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @Da_Wilbur

Thanks for coming here 🙂

Have you tried the advice @XRaySpeX has posted to get the device unlocked?

Leanne.

@Da_Wilbur  if it says that after you’ve put your EE Sim card in the device then that device is locked to a different network you cannot request EE to unlock it. You need to contact your insurer to get this resolved as they supplied you a device that’s locked to a different network.
