I'm not an EE-TV user and am aware there are a few complexities around aerial-mode/internet-mode etc - which may alter the answer - however, the usual cause of this is that the broadcaster changed their schedule and showed a different programme in the same timeslot.
So your EE-TV box has recorded the channel in question when Irish Open Golf was meant to be shown, but the broadcaster showed motor racing instead. A quick Google tells me that Sky Sports hold the rights to that golf tournament, and they would have used the dedicated golf channel I'd imagine. I can't imagine them showing motor racing on a golf channel when they have the F1 channel for that, so.....
