I live in a rural area, but only 20 mins from a city. None of the mobile phone networks work here. Bt Broadband does not exist, they laughed when I said I was moving here!!! The only way you have calls or broadband is through Starlink. This has worked beautifully until december 2025, when wifi calling on my phone sopped working. To date I have spent about 20 hours on the phone to EE, they reset my network settings (which wiped access to my email accounts) then after the 3rd call, they sent me a new sim. Funnily enough that can't be activated. Today, after 4 days of not receiving work calls or being able to call out, I used another phone (vodafone whcih works perfectly with Starlink) to call EE tech support again. Was bluntly told it was starlink and not EE and I should contact Starlink. You can't call them in the Uk, but cahtted with them online, it seems EE has not upgraded to deal with other satellites. I did an internet search and came across rebooting starlink, router, phone etc. Nothing works. Having been a customer of EE (orange) for 32 years, basically since they started, I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. It is utterly ridiculous in 2026 that they are operating in the dark ages when so many of us work from home, that they can't connect to Starlink. Starlink is the ONLY option where I live, no bt, no phone line, nothing. So if I cant make phone calls using wifi, I might as well not have a phone. Sort it out EE, or at the very least stop fobbing me off with exzcuses and not solving or finding a solution. I bet when I call to move my account they'll do something, but sadly probably not. BT buying them out is the worst thing they could have done. Utterly, utterly useless. But if anyone on here can find a sensible solution, I'm all ears!

Hi @Benwright1
Sorry to hear you're facing issues with using WIFI calling over Starlink.
Have you had a chance to try any of the suggestions on another thread we have about this?
You can find the thread here WIFI Calling over Starlink.

Dear Ali-A
So I've trawled through all of the comments on here and in other places on the net. Sadly it seems it is an EE issue, not a Starllink one. EE has not upgraded its networks to deal with signals from satellites using the default IPv4 CGNAT. So as there are many people like myself who live in rural areas with zero phone signal and no BT broadband (and no prospect of it), we have no choice but to use Starlink. If I walk up the field behind my house for about quarter of a mile I get 3 bars of mobile signal. My partner has a vodafone mobile, it does not have this issue. I pay for an EE business service, which is pretty useless as the 20 hours I've spent on the phone with EE since December 2025 have resolved nothing and just cost me more money. It seems brand loyalty is just stupidity on my part! I have rebooted starlink dish and router and the tp-deco mesh units, updated my phone, turned on and off, turn wifi dialling on and off, makes no difference. I am self employed, so I am now going to be missing out on work. If EE is going to continue to block wifi calling I will have no choice but to move my business to another provider. I will not be paying exit charges for my contract as EE MUST provide wifi calling and they don't, so I will be free to move at no cost. It seems a shame, ut the responses I've had from support so far have been disinterested and that's being kind.
