I received my ee tv box today, but I can’t seem to get it to work, my box is behind my tv ( we have a media wall ) would this affect the use of the box?
any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

I take it you pulled out the tab going into the battery compartment?
But if it’s not that, then no, you shouldn’t need line of sight to the box once it’s set up, as it uses Bluetooth.
But can you try pairing the remote to the box in line of sight, and only then moving it behind the TV?

+1 for @Midnight_Voice‘s suggestion.
On first start up (or after a reset), I have always found the TV Box Pro to need line of sight for at least the first few button presses before the Bluetooth kicks in.
Not sure why or if that is how it is supposed to work (I suspect not), but that has been my experience. YMMV.
You can of course try a reset/re-pair following the instructions here if having issues and can’t get to the box easily.
