access tnt sports with fixed access broadband (mobile broadband)

Hi

We have EE's fixed access (mobile) broadband only (no phones, only the receiver for the broadband). We want to make use of the TNT Sports/discovery + inclusive add-on, using the webplayers. However, the only way to get access is via a text, which we can't receive, as it's sent via text to the outdoor receiver. EE says there's no way round this, and they won't send the necessary code via email or to my non-EE phone.

Has anyone had this problem and been able to resolve it?

Most mobile routers can receive texts & reply to them. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.

Hi @RM46

In the mobile broadband settings is there no option to receive text messages to the router. Alternatively can you put the SIM into a phone to receive the message.

Thanks
