I am still waiting for my services to be connected and I am surprised the EE Mini Box doesn’t have the option to push Freely through it via the regular digital TV aerial. The mini box doesn’t have a TV schedule menu at present. Is this how it is or once the Fibre had been connected to the EE Router, that should be fed around the house from the main box?
When I ordered EE TV, the sales person told me that I could get exactly what I got on Sky, just no ITV+1 etc.

The aerial option & FTA channels are only available on the main EE TV Box.

Freely is a separate platform, not connected to EE TV.
Freeview channels are offered on the EE TV Box Mini via Internet Mode - i.e. over your EE broadband connection. As your broadband isn't currently connected, the TV Box cannot pick up the EE configuration - this is why you're not seeing any channels. I'd recommend that you factory reset the TV Box when connected to EE Broadband to get the best possible experience (including the welcome video, which will offer a number of hints and tips on how to best use the service).
Sales advisors are specifically told NOT to claim that our service matches other platforms, as this is not the case. The list of channels and apps is very different, as are the features offered by our boxes. I'm sorry if you've been misled. Feel free to evaluate the service for the first 14 days, and cancel if it doesn't meet your needs.

You'll see the channels available via Internet Mode in the EE TV Channel Guide
