Any update please on when the EPG guide used by EETV boxes and the EETV app will become reliable. Several glaring errors with several of the Sky Sports channels yesterday.

I had a brief look this evening

Last week On Monday 19 January for Sky Sports Main Event  HD Live Premier  League MNF  Brighton v Bournemouth game  the EPG  Series CRID was  in format crid://bds.tv/ntv/HD384301151

Tonights (Monday 26th January) live  game on same channel Sky Sports Main Event  HD   Monday Night Football Everton v Leeds United the Series CRID was in format crid://bds.tv/ntv/HDsls6902331899

So different Series CRIDs being used for Monday Night Football on consequtive weeks.

The Live Sky Sports Main Event  HD Live Premier  League game on Sunday 1st  February afternoon  between Manchester United and Fulham  in the EPG has Series CRID was  in format crid://bds.tv/ntv/HD384301151  (ie the same one used for the Brighton game on the 19th)

The Live Sky Sports Main Event  HD Live Premier  League game on Sunday 1st  February afternoon  between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in the EPG has Series CRID was  in format crid://bds.tv/ntv/HD384301151  (ie the same one used for the Brighton game on the 19th)

Looking further forward  Next Monday 2nd Feb live  game on channel Sky Sports Main Event  HD   Monday Night Football Sunderland v Burnley  the Series CRID is currently showing as in format crid://bds.tv/ntv/HDsls6902331899  (ie same as tonights but different to the previous days  Sunday Premier League games on same channel)

I have been having weekly challenges with this same ongoing problem since July 2025. I first noticed it during the 2025 Lions Rugby tour. I have been keeping an eye on the progress of this issue being investigated via these community pages throughout this time but it certainly remains an unresolved disturbance.

I can confirm that my own scheduled recordings of the aforementioned Sky Sports matches, Man Utd Vs Fulham, Tottenham Vs Man City and Sunderland vs Burnley all suddenly disappeared from my pre-set scheduled recordings over the course of the past week. As this has been happening for over 6 months, I have learnt to check my scheduled recordings regularly and set the recording up again before the match starts as soon as I can see that the originally set recording has randomly disappeared from my scheduled recordings list. I really hope that this can get fully resolved in the near future.

TNT Sports finally migrated to the new system yesterday, meaning data should  improve.  We're monitoring it closely.

That's good news about TNT Sport data @DarrenDev

However I see most of the discrepancies now relate to Sky Sports.

e.g. I have been following the Under 19 Men's Cricket World Cup -

Yesterday for the England Semi-Final Match when I set up,in advance,Recordings of their Match both Channels that were showing it had incorrect Info - Main Channel HD had "LIVE : TEST (sic) Cricket TBA" & Sky Sport Cricket HD had "LIVE F1 (Formula 1 sic!) TBA".

BOTH of these Recordings worked.I believe the reason for that was that the incorrect Info was not changed  and was the same at start of Recordings.

Today, similarly,I set up,in advance, for the second Semi Final to be Recorded. At time of scheduling this match also had incorrect details info (I think it was, again,LIVE Test Cricket TBA).However when I sat down to watch the Recording it just showed "failed to Record".This time I think the Info must have been changed BEFORE the recording started to correct details (ICC Under-19s World Cup) and therefore "it" must have felt that this was a change to Schedule.

Couple of Observations - is the dreaded AI now getting involved (and did not realise those Matches are not Test Cricket and, certainly not,Formula 1!) and also,ANY normal Sports Fan would realise this and, therefore,is it possible that EPG details have been farmed out abroad and,at the moment,"checkers" do not know how poor they are described.

A little rant, sorry.I know these things would be put right if there were an easy solution and, also,if this is farmed out abroad  (hopefully to eventually save us all money) then I am OK with that but would hope "training" could be improved.

I'm obviously guessing at any cause for this continuing problem and would appreciate just a little inkling of what's causing the problem and how long it will take.

I wish I knew the cause myself @graybag - it's incredibly frustrating for us here too. We're doing all we can to find and point out the errors, and have 2 guys working full time on it, but ultimately we're at the mercy of the supplier - I'm not privy to the explanations they are giving for the errors.

@DarrenDev good to know as apparently nobody gives a toss according to a poster on the BT forum

Given the length of time the issues have been ongoing it is not suprising if some customers are frustrated.

@DarrenDev don't know if this is related or not but lots of "no information available" showing in the guide for tnt channels from Friday in particular

There was a fault with YouView on Friday that caused a lot of data to disappear, which was mitigated pretty quickly, however it then occurred again later that day. The last update I had was late Friday night to say it was being investigated as top priority.  I haven't had an update yet this morning.
