Make sure when trying to pair that you wait until the flashing occurs, and then wait until it stops.

If you can’t pair the remote with the box at all, then you either have a remote where you haven’t pulled out the battery tab, or a faulty remote, or a faulty Box Mini. If you have a faulty device, get EETV to swap it for you.

If you can pair the remote with the Box but not the TV, then some TVs are known to be problematic, and the remote doesn’t recognise them. What’s the exact make and model of TV?

If all else fails, buy a remote for an older model of YouView box off eBay or Amazon, where you can input the code yourself. This is useful when you have, say, a TV badged Panasonic, but it’s actually made for them by Vestel, and you need to give Vestel as the make, not Panasonic.

The automated setup can’t cope wit this, but the older remotes where you set the code based on what make the TV really is, rather than what it’s badged, can.

No I have had the box for months now and the remote has worked just fine but then one day my power went out and then remote stopped working all together with the box no matter what I did the ee tech team even manually reset the box and it still won’t pair now all I have is a brick in my kids and paying for it and all they give me for 2 weeks no working tv box a lossus 7:50 when the bill is hell a lot more then that

Sounds like the power outage fried the Box Mini. Why haven’t EETV just replaced it for you?
