I've just transferred from Plusnet to EE. The Wifi connection from the new Smarthub SH31B keeps dropping off and most of the time can't connect using WPS. (the password method is ridiculous as it's 16 characters). The Plusnet Hub one had no problems connecting to the TV and never dropped off. Can anyone tell me the difference between these hubs and is their a solution?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

PN: WiFi5, WPA2 vs. EE SH6+: WiFi6, WPA3.
Sometimes older or weaker devices may not be compatible with the default WiFi settings of EE Smart Hubs. Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings > Config > Compatible WiFi (it defaults to 2.4 GHz only & WPA2) & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.
