The regions offered to you in Internet Mode are based on the TV regions that your postcode is reported to receive. The fact that you say you can't receive that signal via your TV aerial suggests that the current mapping is correct. We're contractually required to only offer the correct TV regions offered by the geographical location.

Email me at tv.apps@ee.co.uk with your account number and postcode, and I'll see if we have any flexibility to offer nearby regions.

Living on the edge of TV regions I want to force the EETV box to get the region I want which is not showing on the channel selection. Any easy way to do this? Previously used Freesat as this was an option.

@Dyse If you go to the settings icon on the top right hand side of the screen. Then under Signal & Connection select TV Channels. Then select Update Channels. After this has been done you are then given an option to select which TV region you want to use. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, appreciated. I understand the option to update channels but this gives no choice. I do not want to watch the region given which is E Yorks & Lincs, but Yorkshire which is not an option that comes up. The TV regions are based on transmitters, not logical geographic or political regions. I am just in the E.Yorks area, a few miles up the road is N. Yorks but we cannot get their signal via aerial. In fact before digital I was just out of range of every transmitter so couldn't watch anything at all in good weather! The EETV box is only connected via WiFi so I would expect there is a way to force it to go to any region. This is possible via freesat and on the BBC iplayer so why not on a TV box just connected to the internet? I am originally from W. Yorks so would prefer the Yorkshire option to see N.Yorks & W.Yorks local news instead of E.Yorks & Lincs which is mainly Hull & Lincs.
