TNT Sports through Sky+ box

Hello, I have a Sky+ box and subscribe to TNT Sports through BT as part of a package with phone, broadband etc. Now BT have become part of EE, EE are telling me that from November when my package changes from BT to EE I won't be able to receive TNT Sports through my Sky box and will have to get an EE TV box. Is this correct?

Thank you in advance for any help.

There is currently no known plan to force you to move from BT Broadband to EE Broadband and no plans have been announced to stop selling sport on BT, so I'm not sure why the agent would have told you that.

@DarrenDev@Brent23

Would what the agent said be correct if @Brent23 has volunteered to move to EE?

I don't believe EE offer TNT Sports on Sky as an option, so yes. It would be correct.  The only option would be to add TNT Sports onto a subscription directly with Sky.

I'm in the same boat. My BT broadband needed to be updated on the subscription and now I'm on EE. I've just received by EETV, and I don't want 2 TV boxes! I also pay to have TNT on my second Sky box...

I'm now thinking what the hell have I done! It looks as if I can't remain on BT as a TNT subscription...

@JB1312

EETV sent you two boxes? Or they sent you one, and you currently still have a BT one?

What are they?

If the latter, BT will want their box back, and unless it was supplied before 13/12/2019, when it would be yours by right, you will need to return it.

i see you are happy to have two Sky boxes, though, and yet you don’t want two EETV ones. Isn’t that a bit discriminatory? 😛
