Recently moved to EE broadband and TV. Sky sports and TNT sports are unwatchable on the guide channels and on the Now & Discovery + Apps. Was told by the sales rep that the sports were all HD on the Big sports package and he also told me Disney plus was built in as well.

Hi @Colin12461
Welcome to our community.
Can you tell me a bit more about what happens when you try and watch these channels, do you get a message on screen?
Lesley

Hi Lesley no there are no messages just the picture isn't very clear especially on the longer range angles. All the other channels ie BBC, ITV etc are fine it just seems to be Sky sports and TNT sports.

Thanks for the extra info @Colin12461
So you can access the channels but the quality is poor?
Is this intermittent or has it been the same since switching?

Hi Lesley yes can access the channels via the guide and through the Now TV & Discovery + apps but the quality has been poor since switching. I've tried re-booting the router and the TV box but it made no difference.

Are you connecting using an aerial or internet only @Colin12461?

Are you using WiFi or an ethernet cable @Colin12461?
If you are using WiFi, are you able to test this with either a Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable?

@Colin12461 the channels on EE TV via EE Broadband are exactly the same as via BT Broadband. The only thing that changes is how you're billed.
Are you definitely watching the HD channels from the TV guide? Both SD and HD versions are available.
Also, the way the channels are delivered means that they either work or they don't - they don't drop quality. They may pixelate periodically, if the data stream can't keep up.
