Setting up ee tv on laptop

Hi, I have recently signed up to ee and am having problems playing ee tv on my laptop, windows 10, edge browser. I can sign into my account on the laptop and buy films etc but it won't let me play anything through the laptop and therefore is not registering the laptop as one of my devices. I was initially asked to download the web player but this didnt seem to make any difference and so I have just deleted but can't see how to reinstall as it just takes me straight into my account and doesnt ask me to download the web player . Any advice would be appreciated

With the app installed, when you select a video to watch, your browser will ask for permission to launch the app - you must allow it.

Hi sorry just coming on here to ask the same question.  I have doen loaded the above but my system will not let me press play button?  Very odd, i am using microsoft edge, any help greatly recieved 🙂

Were you able to log into your EE ID login details? Which Microsoft Edge version are you on?

Afraid not @jsimps0n - licensing restrictions currently prevent us from offering a Mac player, but we're hoping things will change in 2026 (it's being reviewed now).

Hi DarrenDev, good to see you still here. Me too. All well.

I haven't seen about  EE TV Web Player until catching sight on here. I have downloaded the desktop player and logged in but cannot see any of my recordings or watch live TV on my PC. This is also true of the Android app. I must be doing something wrong.

Can you advise? Would be grateful

You're not doing anything wrong @Dephead2004 - the content in the EE TV app is limited.  You can only watch a small selection of channels (shown on the Live tab in the app, and "Live TV" on web).  It's not possible to watch recordings anywhere other than directly on the EE TV Box. You can manage recordings in the mobile app, but not from web.
