Series link record BBC & ITV PROGRAMMES

Does anyone know how to set the EE TV box to record  series on BBC & ITV. When I was on sky TV I just recorded the programme and it would give me an option to record the series (e.g match of the day) when I try to record BBC programmes on EETV it says ‘it’s not on demand’?

@Hitchinirons I’ve just taken out EE TV  and when I go into the EPG I can highlight a program I want to record and press the R button. I am then ask whether I want to recorded a single episode or the series
