These EE TV remotes (Previously BT) are useless. Tried resetting “using home/9 and home/7 but still the volume button won’t work. Taken remote apart to clean contacts, guess what?……….still not working! Come back my old Humax setup. But now I’m tied in a contract 😂
can’t wait to leave…. Oh and the mini boxes keep needing resetting due to various weak signals, even though I have an extender booster module 10 feet away! Only way to get working again, is to keep rebooting router and mini TV. Box Useless EE TV.
They have a long way to go, to match Sky and Virgin!
Oh 1 more thing… TV apps are imbedded in the system, so you can’t add the Disney app!

If the EE button flashes teal when you press the volume keys, then you don’t need to check the contacts.
Does the EE button flash teal? Did you pull the insulating strip out of the back of the remote?
What make and model of TV have you got? Perhaps it’s not one the remote recognises?
Is the extender/booster one from EE?
Maybe you can get the Disney app on your TV? Otherwise, a Firestick or Roku will cover this quite inexpensively.

Hi @Lesliepeart,
Welcome back to the Community!

Can you currently control the volume of the soundbar with the TV remote?

The Apple EE remotes aren’t much better either. Had to order a replacement this week due to mine just completely failing.
