Rebooting TV box every 2-3 days

LE92
Visitor

Had EE TV for 1 year. I have to reboot the TV at least 2-3 times a week. The internet never drops off - just the TV. I have the power link network extender as someone from EE said that would work. It makes absolutely no difference. I think there is something wrong with the box itself but EE will not admit to this. I will not be renewing my broadband or TV contract with EE and as soon as this rubbish contract ends it’s back to Sky or Virgin (neither ever failed).

@LE92  Kill the power at the wall and you’ll be doing a reboot each day.  This should solve the issue and save you on electricity because it sounds like you leave it on standby.

I agree with you. There is something wrong with the EE box and it is that they have not allowed for the transmitters in different parts of the country. The box 'thinks' it knows better and 'tunes' itself to a different transmitter on a whim. So in certain areas of the country there are conflicts. I was retuning every month, then every week, then every day. I have tried a factory reset and within a minute only 30 channels are left. My contract has a long time left.
