Poor Tv reception

Since getting a new router from EE, after enjoying a problem free service with BT, my TV reception is not great. When watching terrestrial channels the picture often pixelates. I don’t seem to have this problem if I watch through an app - e.g. BBC iPlayer or ITV X.

Any advice?

I am interested in understanding if there’s a solution to this issue. I have noticed the same thing. Got 500mb from EE so speed cannot be a factor. But picture pixelates every 20 secs or so and whilst not a deal breaker is frustrating 

Having same issue. Picture pixelates every 20-30 secs on ee tv mini. Tested on terrestrial and broadband fed channels such as TNT Sports 1 HD. This feels like an inherent system issue. Connected by WiFi but getting 300mb when checking on Netflix speed checker on app on ee tv box. Not a deal breaker by any means but frustrating nonetheless.  Changed DNS server to cloudflare but no difference. Don’t really want to buy a mesh system but that might be next option so I can change connection to wired. Shouldn’t need to though!

I have the same issue when watching terrestrial channels through my EE tv box. If I switch over to terrestrial direct (not via the ee box) the problem goes away so this must be a system issue within the box breaking up the signal. Come on EE you should be able to do better than this. I never had the issue with Sky

And have any of you reported this issue back to EE ?  or are you all going to leave it for others to report?

Yes, and they are sending me some new hub connectors, don’t think that will solve the problem (but I may be surprised) as the tv aerial comes in at the back of the tv box directly and then goes out to the tv (and split to other tvs) when I use the terrestrial channels direct all is okay (main and other tvs) only via the tv box does the pixelation occur 

I have the same issue, spent 25 minutes chatting to lovely EE lady trying all sorts of resets, box setup changes, still have pixilation via pro box, tv on same channel is perfect, not pixilation. 

Definitely seems yo be a pro box issue, can't find a way of resolving online, back to ringing EE again, hopefully second time lucky 🙂

I’m having the same issue. Definitely a pro box issue my mini boxes work fine
