I would not bother asking because they won’t say until it is actually announced. But from experience I would not hold my breath 😹

 just spoke to EE via chat (look above). You can transfer over to sky stream mid contract. Just a 99p admin fee

@Richkc

While we wait for the picture to appear, wouldn’t that be ‘as well’, as @DarrenDev describes, rather than ‘instead’?

Nope. And I had so many issues I can’t believe it. Wanted to change package to a lower one. Magically systems won’t allow them to change it. Took weeks to get anywhere and only after a complaint they allowed me to cancel TV without penalty but guess what lol system won’t allow them to cancel it and been waiting over a week now and still nothing. Honestly I wish I never took it 😹

I phoned EE this morning and was given the option of downgrading Big Sport to normal Sport on EETV, you can make any TV package change every 30 days. Was going to switch to subscribe to NOW directly to get UHD, until it’s available through EE.

Yes that should be the ‘normal’ way but for some reason when they try to make any changes to my package they get system error. Even when they allowed me to cancel it still didn’t work and had to send it off to their sales support team or something but I’m still waiting after 2 weeks. Just great 😂

@rafaldo7

Just make sure you don’t try to watch it on any EETV [Box] devices then.

These so don’t recognise UltraBoost that they will drop you clean through UHD and HD down to SD (actually HD Ready, but EETV have no mechanism for naming any intermediate stage between HD and SD).

[Edit -you can use the Apple box, apparently, I learn]

Thanks, it will work on EETV Apple TV 4K device through the NOW TV app, I understand there is incompatibility with the EETV boxes themselves.
