Moved from BT to EE. Now I cannot access Now Tv through the Now tv app, it says I need an active membership, which I have.
Any suggestions.

If you are not getting a password reset email from Now on the email address you expect, then it’s one that Now don’t recognise.
Now don’t actually use or need the email address that EETV have set up for you, which is why Now on EETV works for you. Though it’s essential for the Now app, even on an EETV box.
So it looks as if besides the usual EETV error, that they can set you up on a wrong email address, there is also an error they can make where they set you up on the right email address, but then give a different one to Now.
Though I would still look very hard at the email address that EETV have assigned you for Now, as some typos can be extremely subtle, and don’t even show up, like l and I.
(Lower case L and upper case i)!

Apologies. You were correct. I returned from a trip away and rechecked. They had duplicated one letter of my email address so that at first glance it looked fine.
Thank you. I will get it sorted.

Hope you had a lovely time away 🙂

I am getting a similar problem. EE has set up my Now TV app with a spurious email address which is not my email address. I can view the incorrect email address when I look at settings on the EETV box under the Now TV details. This creates two problems for me:
1. I dare not log out of Now TV on my EETV box.
2. I cannot watch Now TV on my laptop or ipad because I do not have an account under my real email address.
Why has EE EE set me up with a bogus email account?

Because EE staff have to enter the email address manually, and they get it wrong rather too often, whether a small typo or a major mistake 😢
You are the latest in a long line of people this has happened to, and you will need to call up EETV and request this be corrected.
In the meantime, it doesn’t matter if you log out of Now. EETV will restore the wrong but working details next time you use the EETV device,
2 still stands, alas, so the sooner you get on to Now to correct this, the sooner you will be able to watch Now on your iPad.
It is devoutly to be hoped that when EE get their EETV setups properly automated, the correct email address will be set automatically, thus putting an end to this ongoing problem.

Thanks for this advice - the logging back into the wrong address has solved point 1. Regarding point 2, I have already had two phone conversations with EE reps (when you supposedly get thru to the right dept) who assured me they were fixing this. They do not make this easy!
