Now TVCrime and investigation channel content

Interesting that on the now app the crime and investigation is showing as being an apparent channel with no live stream but just on demand content. 

Wonder if this was a mistake at Now TV with a spoiler alert of a potential channel or just a blip.

It could also be a clever way to cut costs. As that channel doesn't show any original content, there's no benefit to it being linear streamed in the app - linking to the on demand assets would be cheaper to operate.

Just wondered as it is a channel on sky stream for example so not sure how much effort that would be to have it replicated for the now app. But as you say the cost might be outweighed by the value.

As an aside the AMC  on demand content that EETV used to have on its app  is now sitting within the ITV  X app.

Some of the other apps have had some welcoming upgrades.

I notice that they have on demand available on sky go as well as the channels on sky according to their site. 

Perhaps a new deal has extended it to Now TV. 

Now TV in the USA has more channels than we do so far.
