Why won’t Now tv play, just says something went wrong?

Welcome to the EE Community

Are you trying to watch Now TV channels through the Now TV app or via the channels on your TV box? Does the issue effect both? Is it effecting all Now content when you test? 

If you have not already I would recommend restarting your TV box to see if this resolves the issue.

Sorry @Alex_H I forgot to reply here.

Now TV broke their app across all platforms/devices last night.  They fixed it about an hour later.
