Now TV Boost Ultra - is this available on EE

Just bought a new tv and wanted to watch sky sports on ultra HD (via Now TV)

Spoke to someone at EE and they said I was paying for the UHD package, but the UHD channels are not available on the guide.  When I go to the Now TV app, I can see that my viewing experience is set up as "boost" rather than "boost ultra". Spoke to a bot at Now TV and they said its down to EE, but the person at EE didn't see how this could be upgraded.

I don't know if there is something more wrong with EEs infrastructure on UHD for Sky Sports. Hoping someone here will know more.

I can see i have access to TNT Ultimate HDR though.

I'm afraid Now TV Ultra Boost isn't currently available on EE TV packages, and cannot be added to a Now TV account that is paid for via an EE bill.

Any plans to get it added at some point?

It's definitely coming at some point, but I can't give a date I'm afraid. Ordering systems are still being updated to support it.

BT customer with EETV, just out of contract. I would rather stay with BT/EE for TV service, but would really love to get SKY Sports in UHD. If it Doesn't come soon I will have to jump ship and go direct with SKY.

Over the years I've used all the various providers, EE is the best I've used when packaged up with everything else... but UHD is something that needs to come quickly... I don't think you'll be alone in thinking that.

Don’t get your hopes up, we were told it was coming over 12 months ago! If you want UHD your best going to sky or now tv direct.

Nothing personal but the "ordering systems being upgraded" started wearing thin over a year ago. It simply cannot be that complicated. There is existing integration between BT/EE and NOW to allow services to be rendered. There is already variation allowed as you can have sports without movies etc.. What exactly needs to be upgraded to allow adding an additional package?

At this point I think EE and/or NOW don't want to offer it for some reason.

It would be funny if it weren't true @lufc87 .  I wish I could go into the details, but I can't.

We all desperately want to offer it, as well as a number of other things being blocked by it. It's just not ready.

do you think there is a possibility it will be in the next few months?
