I’m very just set up my EETV mini in addition to my main box in another room. Although the main box set up fine with 160 ish channels, with mini box has 0 . I’ve retuned and done a factory reset but to no avail.
how can this be done? It’s not our internet connection as Netflix is streaming movies perfect on the mini box

At a guess, I would say that your TV Box Pro is connected to a TV aerial, so is picking up channels from there. The TV Box Mini only works via the broadband, and will only work when connected to a BT or EE broadband line. Has your EE broadband been activated yet? The TV service on the TV Box Mini won't work until that's happened - sometimes the morning after.
