I understand the new EE TV Service has just been launched, including via a customised EE Apple TV 4K box. I currently have Sky Stream so EE TV via an Apple TV box is a. good proposition. It would be great to hear reviews of the service via Apple TV from those who are early adopters of the service (I assume some trials must have taken place too)

Hi @DarrenDev,
I've been reading through all the support you've been giving on the new EE TV with Apple TV.
I'm ready to jump in and make the switch from Sky and shift everything over to EE but need to know when the live TV pause/rewind function will be available. As many others I'm sure can relate, pausing live TV is a big deal. Especially when you've got a family!
So is there a timeframe on when this feature will be available? I'm reluctant to make the switch until this is ready to use as it's such a key feature for me.
I look forward to your reply.

I understand. Is it actively being worked on though? You say a couple months is that likely?

I'm really not allowed to say. It's definitely high on our list though.

Understood. I recommend you don't order until you see an announcement that it available.

I'm so sick of Sky though!
If I was to order a ATV EE TV box, would the functionality just come out in an update within coming months?

The app is being actively worked on by a great team, with many new features being developed. Updates are being released every couple of weeks to all devices simultaneously. When pause/rewind is ready, it will be delivered to all EE TV Apple TVs - old and new.

Hi Darren, thank you again for all your help last week, received the Apple TV a couple of days ago and have it all set up and working. As an accessibility consultant and voiceover user myself pleased to report the EE TV app has good accessibility and I have already had a number of visually impaired people showing considerable interest. I have a meeting with the RNIB and various TV providers coming up, not sure if EE are attending but I will certainly be passing on my thoughts.
I did have one quick question, I have another Apple TV box (not from EE) with the EE TV app installed, until a few weeks ago I could access all free view channels on there as well as the Sky channels but after an app update I can now only see the TNT sport channels. Are the free view view/Sky channels restricted to the EE Apple TV box only?
