I watch the Premiership rugby games on TNT sport. I usually record them and watch them through the week. The ones shown on Discovery+ can't be recorded. Will I be able to record those on HBO???
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @TimOH
Welcome to the community.
You'll be able to record them through the channel list on your EE TV box. Live content and replays will be shown in the HBO Max app.
Hope this helps.

Something can only be recorded if it's shown on a channel. Apps cannot record.
If programmes are shown in the discovery+ app, I would expect them to also be available for replay in the app too (subject to content rights).

Maybe I misunderstood your question?
TNT Sports channels will still be there the same as they are now.
The TNT Sports content in the discovery+ app will be moving to the HBO Max app.
Nothing changes other than the app - it'll still be the same content.

The key thing is - will I be able to record the games on my EE box? If I can't, you have devalued the product. Regards Tim

That won't change - you'll be able to record all the same programmes that you can now.
