Hi all, bit confused with this, so we’ve moved over to EE and been asked to send back the old BT equipment, which is fine but we haven’t received an EE tv box pro like the BT one we currently have, therefore if we send this back we will not be able to record tv any longer. We have the tv box mini and Apple TV box also neither of which can record. But if we don’t send back the old BT tv box pro we will be charged £140. Anyone had this same issue? Thanks

You sure you moved the TV along with BB when you moved from BT to EE?

I expect that @SparkyB87 did, but EE didn’t 😢

When you moved across, did they send you the Apple TV box as part of this?
If so, it was to replace your TV Box Pro as your main box. It is the choice of either the Apple TV or Recordable Box, and then a Mini Box as the additional box.

@SparkyB87 If you take EETV a with EE broadband you have choice of Apple TV or a Box Pro as your main box and up to 2 Box minis ( currently 1 free and 2nd chargeable , although early adopters could get 2 free).
so as @Matt_124 posted if you choose the Apple TV box the existing Loaned Box Pro from your previous contract would require returning. The non return charge (£115/&140) for not doing this would depend upon whether the Box Pro was the BT or EE model,
So if you want recording option with a box pro you would need to contact EE to discuss and implement.
