Does anyone know why when I switch my BT tv box the blue light flashes but and don't even show anything on the tv screen so two times this week I have had to unplug the power cable at the back of my BT tv box for it to come on back of it?

You're having to reboot it, then.

If it's BT TV why come to an EE forum?

@XRaySpeX

I’m guessing that, like every single YouView box on BT Broadband, of no matter what age or provenance, it has rebadged itself to EE TV, notwithstanding whatever may have been tampo’ed or embossed onto the box or remote.

And these days the boxes, all rebadged EE, may still be supplied by BT.

Asking people to make the subtle distinction between the BT on the box and the EE on the screen (or should it be the BT or EE on the router?)  in these matters is asking too much.

Not that it matters anyway, as @DarrenDev will be onto it, if necessary, in either Community 😛

yes it's an BT box and the tv contract has been moved over from BT tv to EE tv.

@Lukeg33

Hold down the On/Standby button until the box reboots itself. This is slightly superior to power cycling it. You can do it any time; you don’t have to wait for the box to misbehave again.

If it misbehaves after this, please post again, and say precisely which model it is.
