I have recently been supplied with an EE Box Pro to replace my old BT box. I am using an HDMI extender, which works fine on the old box but not the new one. The extender is powered by the box, and it seems to be a power issue (the light on the extender flickers rather than being solidly lit). I wonder if anyone else has this problem and has solved it -- in particular by finding an extender that is compatible with the new EE box. There are a lot of HDMI extenders out there, but I am reluctant to buy one and just hope it works.

I wouldn't recommend using one that is powered by the box - I can only assume your current device is using the HDMI 2.1a "HDMI Cable Power" feature. I'm not sure if any of our boxes officially support it, but you'd be better buying something with an external power supply. If you can find one that accepts USB power, then you could use the USB port on the TV Box for it.
